Companion Property & Casualty provides insurance options to the marketplace other than our traditional underwriting services. We offer opportunities to collaborate with other carriers or agencies for larger segments of business. 
Program Successes
We have more than $400 million in premium volume from programs coordinated with other insurance organizations. Programs cover a wide variety of insurance specialties. We have a specialized business development unit and an implementation unit to help ensure the programs develop successfully.
Currently, we are licensed in 49 states. We also offer Non-admitted/Excess and Surplus (E&S) paper in 45 states, with more expansion planned for this year.
Fronting Programs
With Fronting Programs, we lease out, or "front," our paper to another insurance carrier. This holds appeal for several reasons. Carriers may not be licensed in a state, or they may need to leverage our A rating to enable them to expand their business.
At-Risk Programs
With At-Risk Programs, we work with other carriers or agencies by sharing in the risk for the business they write.
