We pass on additional savings to our customers when they use a preferred provider organization (PPO) to provide medical care to employees. PPOs use negotiated contracts with medical care providers to furnish services at specified fees, in return for prompt payment and specified volumes of patients. We contract with PPOs who maintain solid credentialing practices to be sure that our customers' employees receive prompt and proper medical treatment at all times.
