Clark W. Lawrence, CSP has joined Companion Property & Casualty Group as Director of the recently formed SELECTComp Markets ®, an underwriting unit of Companion P&C. In addition, Christal Leggett has joined SELECTComp Markets ® as a Senior Underwriter.
SELECTComp Markets ® offers Workers Compensation insurance for clients who are fully prepared to address poor loss experience through aggressive risk management and loss control practices. Typical clients generally have annual premiums in excess of $150,000 and an NCCI experience modification factor of 1.25 and higher.
Clark Lawrence brings over 21 years of commercial insurance experience to this new enterprise. He has spent over ten years in field engineering and risk management with a major multi-line insurance company, and also has over ten years of experience in managing loss control and risk management operations for a major workers Compensation self-insurance fund.
Clark earned his Masters Degree in Safety Management from the University of West Virginia. He also holds a Bachelors Degree in Management, with minors in Engineering Technology, Retail Management and Computer Science. He is a member of the American Society of Safety Engineers and holds the Certified Safety Professional designation.
Christal Leggett has over twenty years of commercial lines underwriting experience and is a graduate of Mercy College, located just outside of New York City.
